Nueva Andalucia is a residential area that was developed evoking a new Andalusian village with modern apartments and villas, hence the name. It stretches inland from the sea, has a couple of lovely lakes, backdropped by the imposing La Concha Mountain and offers some of the finest golf courses in Spain. Nueva Andalucía is ideally situated, just a few minutes drive from the glitz and glamour of Marbella and Puerto Banús, still very close to the natural beauty of the Sierra de Ronda mountain range and that makes it very attractive for both visitors and residents.

Where is Nueva Andalucia?


Nueva Andalucia is located basically next to the famous Puerto Banus, separated from it by the N-340 road, which is also the main road to get around on the Costa del Sol. The Bullring on the right marks the entrance of Nueva Andalucia, and the road that climbs towards the mountains offers a magnificent view of the coast. And on a sunny clear day, you might even see North Africa! Nueva Andalucia is also close to San Pedro, which is a refreshingly unspoilt "pueblo" with an appeal all of its own.

 

 

What To Do in Nueva Andalucia?


Shopping


For shopping visit the Centro Plaza shopping centre where you can find different goods as well as, restaurants, bars and also a beauty parlour and a gym. Nueva Andalucia is within walking distance to all the shops in Puerto Banus as well as the marina. For luxury goods head out to El Corte Ingles and don't forget to visit Marina Banus for the high street brands like Zara, Bershka aso. 

 

 

 

 

The Market is held every Saturday morning and there you will find a large selection of merchandise, from clothing and shoes to suitcases and even furniture. You can also buy fruits, vegetables and plants. It starts about 9 am, and finishes by 3 pm. The Market starts from the Bullring, so you can't miss it!

 

 

Culture


The imposing Bullring, that is the actual venue of bullfighting, now also hosts different concerts and spectacles. See i-Marbella's upcoming event calendar to find out what is on this week!

 

 

Nueva Andalucia restaurants 

 

When you feeling eating out, Nueva Andalucia has various international restaurants, as well as different exotic places. i-Marbella would recommend La Sala for drinks as well as for dining. The place is crowded throughout the week, offering also live music and a dj on the weekend!

 

 

 

Entertainment & Casinos


One of the two casinos on the Coast is located in Nueva Andalucia. The Casino Marbella, housed at the Andalucia Plaza Hotel, opposite Puerto Banus, offers 72 slot machines and other games. But its also a venue for exhibitions, seminars, meetings, parties etc.

 

 

Sport

 

This area is perfect for sports enthusiasts! Here you can practise tennis, paddle, golf or just go to the gym or run at the paseo. Nueva Andalucia offers golf courses with stunning views - Las Brisas, Los Naranjos, Aloha Golf, La Magna, La Quinta Golf, La Dama de Noche are all very close by.
